UkusAP ("we," "us," "our") provides an AP Calculus BC exam-preparation platform, including practice questions, timed quizzes, and exam simulations. This policy applies to anyone who creates an account or otherwise uses UkusAP ("you").
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a password. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using bcrypt before being saved.
Google Sign-In. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's identity service to create or match your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Practice and progress data. We record which questions you attempt, your answers, scores, and time spent, so we can show your progress and recommend what to practice next.
Reported issues. If you use the "Report" feature on a question, we store the question ID, chapter, reason, and any details you provide.
Technical data. Like most web services, our servers log basic request data (IP address, timestamps, request type) for security and abuse prevention (e.g. rate-limiting login attempts).
Local storage. Your browser stores a session token and display name in localStorage so you stay signed in between visits. This stays on your device and is not accessible to other websites.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We share information only where necessary to operate UkusAP:
We do not share your practice history, scores, or account details with other students, schools, or advertisers.
We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account is active, so your progress history remains useful to you. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below and we will remove it, save for any minimal records we're required to retain by law.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing (bcrypt), signed session tokens (JWT) with expiry and revocation, rate limiting on authentication endpoints, and standard web security headers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information protected.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below and we'll respond as quickly as we can.
UkusAP is intended for students preparing for the AP Calculus BC exam, generally aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it. If you are under 18, we recommend involving a parent or guardian before creating an account.
UkusAP's infrastructure may store and process data in countries other than your own. Wherever your data is processed, we apply the same protections described in this policy.
We may update this policy as UkusAP evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of UkusAP after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
